More Problems with Bison Pipeline
On April 20, 2011, the Billings Gazette reported that the Bison natural gas pipeline is facing even more problems with collapsed trenches and exposed pipeline. The pipeline is operated by TransCanada and runs 97 miles through southeastern Montana. Landowners are concerned with TransCanada’s maintenance of the pipeline and many believe this is an example of how the large oil company will operate their Keystone XL pipeline, if the project is approved by the US State Department.
