TransCanada: “(T)he charm of a high school bully…”

A new article posted on Canada.com describes the big fight going on in Nebraska over the Keystone XL pipeline, including interviews with landowners, state legislators, a union leader and a progressive activist.  Concern about potential impacts on the Sandhills and the Ogallala aquifer gets top billing, as do harsh words about TransCanada’s dealings with landowners.  This theme goes back to the siting process for the Keystone I pipeline, when North Dakota landowners put up a futile fight before the North Dakota Public Service Commission.
