Fargo Protests KXL

October 31, 2011

Yesterday (Sunday), protestors gathered outside Obama’s Fargo, North Dakota campaign office to call for denial of the Keystone XL presidential permit application. Considering that the City of Fargo’s concerns about risks to its watershed by Keystone I were brushed aside with assurances about the pipeline’s absolute safety, people might wonder why Fargo residents haven’t been more vocal about the Keystone XL siting process.  Keystone I, the Titanic of pipelines, hasn’t exactly lived up to its publicity.  Fargo’s story should be told.
